Ingredients
UnitsScale
1lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional, for serving)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Place the shrimp in a separate bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
Dredge each shrimp in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the coating sticks. Place the coated shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are golden and crispy, and the shrimp are cooked through (opaque and firm).
Optional: Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy shrimp, you can broil them for the last 1-2 minutes of baking, but keep a close eye on them to avoid burning.
Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your taste; you can add more paprika for extra spice or use a blend of your favorite dried herbs.
If you want a lighter version, use whole wheat panko breadcrumbs or skip the Parmesan.
Serve with a dipping sauce like cocktail sauce, garlic aioli, or a spicy ranch dip.
