  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

Veggies and Nuts:

  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 46 dried red chilies (optional)

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cook Noodles: Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Chicken: Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch. Brown in oil, then set aside.
  3. Sauté Veggies: In the same pan, sauté bell pepper, chilies, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
