  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon rose water (optional)
  • a pinch of saffron threads (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Mixture: In a saucepan, combine milk, cream, condensed milk, and sugar. Boil, then simmer for 20-25 mins.
  2. Add Flavors: Stir in cardamom, pistachios, almonds, rose water, and saffron.
  3. Chill the Mixture: Cool to room temp, pour into molds, and freeze for 6 hours or overnight.
  4. Unmold and Serve: Run molds under warm water to release the kulfi.

Notes

  • You can use evaporated milk instead of condensed milk, adjusting sugar accordingly.
  • For a dairy-free option, substitute coconut milk and cashew cream.
