Juicy grilled steak kabobs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish, perfect for a summer barbecue or family dinner. These skewers are packed with tender steak and vibrant vegetables, all marinated to perfection before grilling.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into rounds
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the steak cubes in the marinade and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge).
  3. While the steak marinates, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into uniform chunks and slices.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and thread the steak cubes and vegetables onto the soaked skewers, alternating between the steak and vegetables.
  5. Grill the kabobs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches desired doneness and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to use your favorite vegetables for the kabobs, such as mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, or bell peppers in different colors.
  • If you prefer a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the marinade.
  • For extra flavor, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the kabobs before serving.
