Ingredients
UnitsScale
1.5lbs flank steak, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
3cups broccoli florets
3/4cup beef broth
1/2cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4cup honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked white rice, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and add olive oil.
Season sliced beef with salt and pepper, then sear in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add garlic and ginger to the pot, sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, and honey. Stir well to combine.
Return beef to the pot and secure the lid. Set to high pressure for 10 minutes.
Once done, allow pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the rest.
Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the pot to thicken the sauce.
Add broccoli florets, close lid, and let steam for 3-5 minutes using residual heat.
Serve hot over cooked rice if desired.
Notes
For extra tender beef, slice against the grain.
Use frozen broccoli if fresh isn’t available—just add directly to the pot.
