Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Additional:

  • Extra hot honey for drizzling
  • Crackers, pretzels, or bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix the cream cheese: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Add cheddar cheese: Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
  4. Bake: Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish, smooth the top, and bake for 15–18 minutes until hot and slightly golden.
  5. Drizzle with honey: Remove from the oven and drizzle with extra hot honey.
  6. Serve: Serve warm with crackers, pretzels, or toasted bread.

Notes

  • For a milder version, reduce the red pepper flakes or omit the hot sauce.
  • You can make your own hot honey by warming ¼ cup honey with 1–2 teaspoons red pepper flakes.
