Units Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the Steak: Generously season steak cubes with salt and black pepper.
  2. Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Glaze: In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, then stir in honey and soy sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine and Serve: Return steak bites to the pan, toss to coat in the glaze, and cook for an additional minute. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • These steak bites pair well with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed veggies.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan for the best sear by working in batches.
