Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

For the Honey Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Add honey, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce. Simmer the sauce until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine and Serve: Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the honey butter sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or with roasted vegetables.
  • You can adjust the honey-to-butter ratio for more sweetness or richness.
