1/2cup creamy peanut butter
1/2cup granulated sugar
1/2cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

24 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped
Instructions
Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Form Dough: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the peanut butter mixture until a soft dough forms. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls.
Bake: Roll each ball in sugar, place on baking sheet, bake for 8–10 minutes until golden.
Add Kisses: Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from oven.
Cool and Serve: Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
