Cranberry Mixture:

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 small jalapeño (seeded and finely diced)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Cream Cheese:

  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and chop the cranberries: Rinse and dry the cranberries, then pulse them in a food processor until finely chopped but not pureed.
  2. Prepare the cranberry mixture: Transfer the chopped cranberries to a bowl and mix in green onions, cilantro, jalapeño, sugar, lemon or lime juice, and salt. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Assemble the dip: Spread the softened cream cheese on a serving platter or dish. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese.
