Cranberry Mixture:
12oz fresh cranberries
1/4cup chopped green onions
1/4cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 small jalapeño (seeded and finely diced)
3/4cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
Cream Cheese:
16oz cream cheese (softened)
Instructions
Rinse and chop the cranberries: Rinse and dry the cranberries, then pulse them in a food processor until finely chopped but not pureed.
Prepare the cranberry mixture: Transfer the chopped cranberries to a bowl and mix in green onions, cilantro, jalapeño, sugar, lemon or lime juice, and salt. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Assemble the dip: Spread the softened cream cheese on a serving platter or dish. Spoon the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese.
Serve: Serve chilled with your choice of crackers, pita chips, or baguette slices.
