Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and mashed
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocado until smooth.
  2. Add the drained tuna, chopped onion, and celery.
  3. Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil, if using.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.

  • Use chunk light tuna for a milder flavor or albacore for a firmer texture.
