Ingredients

Units Scale

Pizza Dough:

  • 1 pound pizza dough, homemade or store-bought

Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Prepare the dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch round. Transfer to a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Add toppings: Brush the edges of the dough lightly with olive oil. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, ham, pineapple, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  5. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use smoked ham or Canadian bacon.
  • If you prefer a crispier crust, pre-bake the pizza dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
