  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Seasonings:

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté Onion and Garlic: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion and garlic until softened, about 3 minutes.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spoon, about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Add Potatoes and Seasonings: Stir in diced potatoes, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Make Sauce: Add tomato paste and beef broth. Stir to combine.
  5. Simmer: Cover the skillet, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender and liquid has reduced.
  6. Thicken and Garnish: Remove the lid and cook an additional 5 minutes if needed to thicken. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
