Ingredients

Units Scale

Ground Beef Alfredo:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Onion and Garlic: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook Ground Beef: Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Combine and Serve: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra veggies, add sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
  • Leftovers reheat well on the stovetop with a splash of milk.
