- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup diced tomato
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh lime zest
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is grilling, prepare the avocado salsa by combining the diced avocado, red onion, tomato, cilantro, lime juice, and chili flakes in a bowl. Stir gently to combine.
- Warm the tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds on each side.
- Once the salmon is cooked, break it into smaller pieces.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the grilled salmon onto the tortillas and topping with a generous spoonful of avocado salsa.
- Optional: Add a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of lime zest for extra flavor.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more chili flakes to the salsa.
- If you prefer, you can also use grilled shrimp or chicken in place of salmon.
- Serve with a side of cilantro rice or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
