1 box (18.4 oz) fudge brownie mix, plus ingredients listed on box (typically eggs, oil, and water)
Pecan Pie Topping:
1cup light corn syrup
1cup packed light brown sugar
4 large eggs
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
2cups chopped pecans
Optional: whole pecans for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven and prepare the brownie layer: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, spread it in the pan, and bake for 20–22 minutes.
Prepare the pecan pie topping: Whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir in chopped pecans.
Layer and bake: Pour pecan mixture over partially baked brownies. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set.
Cool and slice: Let cool in pan, then slice into squares.
