  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

For the glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons blueberry juice or milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the batter: Whisk together melted butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Fold in blueberries and white chocolate chips before pouring the batter into the pan and spreading it evenly.
  3. Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until the center is set. Let cool.
  4. Make the glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, blueberry juice (or milk), and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over cooled brownies.

Notes

  • For a bolder blueberry flavor, mash half of the blueberries before adding to the batter.
  • The glaze can be made with pureed blueberries for a natural color and taste.
