  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta per package instructions, reserve pasta water.
  2. Prepare Sauce: Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic, add cream, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Simmer sauce, add cooked pasta, Parmesan, toss, adding pasta water as needed.
  4. Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, serve hot with extra Parmesan.
