Ingredients

Shrimp:

1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on or off)

Seasoning:

3 tablespoons olive oil, 4 cloves garlic (minced), 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Toppings:

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or sheet pan.
  2. Prepare the shrimp: In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the prepared dish.
  3. Add toppings: Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the shrimp.
  4. Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Broil for 1–2 additional minutes for a golden top if desired.
  5. Finish and serve: Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
