2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
For the Noodles:
12ounces flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
8ounces ramen or lo mein noodles, cooked and drained
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
2 green onions, sliced
Salt and black pepper to taste
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar. Set aside.
Cook the Steak: Season sliced steak with salt and pepper. Sear in a skillet over high heat with 1 tablespoon of butter for 1–2 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Noodles: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter to the pan. Cook garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes for 30 seconds. Add cooked noodles and sauce, tossing to coat. Return steak to the pan and stir until heated through and well combined, about 1–2 minutes.
Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
