  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

For the Fluffernutter Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup marshmallow creme (Fluff)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray and set aside.
  2. Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the mini marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth.
  3. Add Peanut Butter and Cereal: Add the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt, stirring until fully incorporated. Remove from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Swirl in Fluff: Let cool for 1–2 minutes, then gently swirl in dollops of marshmallow creme, being careful not to fully mix to keep a ‘fluffernutter’ swirl effect.
  5. Press into Pan: Press the mixture into the prepared pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
  6. Cool and Cut: Let cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.
