Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt Butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
  3. Mix Ingredients: Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, condensed milk, and salt. Boil gently, stirring constantly until 245°F.
  4. Add Vanilla: Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
  5. Pour and Set: Pour caramel into pan, let sit, sprinkle with sea salt, cool for 2-3 hours, cut into squares, and wrap if desired.
