1cup warm milk (110°F)
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast (1 packet)
1/4cup granulated sugar
1/4cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 to 3 1/2cups all-purpose flour
For the Filling:
1/2cup brown sugar (packed)
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4cup unsalted butter (softened)
For the Glaze:
1cup powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and 3 cups flour. Knead until smooth. Let rest.
Make the Filling: Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out dough, spread butter, sprinkle filling, roll up, and cut into rolls.
Rise and Bake: Place rolls in a dish, let rise, then bake at 375°F for 18–20 minutes.
Glaze and Serve: Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
To save time, use quick-rise yeast and warm, not hot, milk.
For extra richness, add cream cheese to the glaze or pour warm cream over rolls before baking for gooier centers.
