Bread Mixture:
1 loaf French bread, cut into cubes
6 eggs
1 1/2cups milk
1/2cup heavy cream
1/4cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Topping:
1/2cup all-purpose flour
1/2cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2cup cold butter, diced
Instructions
Prepare the Bread Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Add the bread cubes and toss to coat. Pour into a greased slow cooker.
Make the Topping: In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the bread mixture in the slow cooker.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until set and golden brown.
