  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (0.7 oz) packet dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained (optional)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz angel hair pasta, cooked

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add mushrooms if using, and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crock pot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. Shred the chicken in the crock pot and stir to coat with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot over cooked angel hair pasta.

  • You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option.
