1pound ground beef
1 can (15 ounces) corn, drained
1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed tomato soup
1cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Topping:
1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
1cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
Assemble the casserole: In the prepared baking dish, combine the cooked ground beef, corn, kidney beans, tomato soup, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Add the tater tots: Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Top with cheese: Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the tater tots and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
