This Easy Chicken Noodle Casserole is a comforting and satisfying dish that the whole family will love. Creamy and cheesy with tender chicken, vegetables, and a buttery breadcrumb topping, it’s a perfect weeknight dinner option.

Ingredients

Egg Noodles:

12 oz cooked and drained,

Chicken:

2 cups cooked shredded,

Cream of Chicken Soup:

1 can (10.5 oz),

Sour Cream:

1/2 cup,

Milk:

1/2 cup,

Cheddar Cheese:

1 1/2 cups shredded (divided),

Peas and Carrots:

1 cup frozen (thawed),

Seasonings:

1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, salt and pepper to taste,

Topping:

1/2 cup crushed butter crackers or breadcrumbs, 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare Mixture: In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add noodles, chicken, peas, carrots, and 1 cup of cheese. Mix well.
  3. Assemble: Pour mixture into baking dish, top with remaining cheese. Combine crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter, sprinkle over the casserole.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
