Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Additional Ingredients:

  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook beef: In a large oven-safe skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add onion, cook until softened.
  3. Add seasonings: Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and tomato paste; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add ingredients: Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce. Simmer, then stir in macaroni. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes.
  5. Melt cheese: Remove from heat, stir in 1½ cups cheddar cheese until melted. Sprinkle remaining cheddar and mozzarella over the top.
  6. Bake: Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for beef and use any short pasta you prefer.
