1pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1cup beef broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Additional Ingredients:
2cups uncooked elbow macaroni
2cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook beef: In a large oven-safe skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add onion, cook until softened.
Add seasonings: Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and tomato paste; cook for 1 minute.
Add ingredients: Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce. Simmer, then stir in macaroni. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes.
Melt cheese: Remove from heat, stir in 1½ cups cheddar cheese until melted. Sprinkle remaining cheddar and mozzarella over the top.
Bake: Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey for beef and use any short pasta you prefer.
