For the Filling:

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Caramel Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast: In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix Dough: Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead: Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, then let it rise until doubled in size.
  4. Roll Out: Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
