  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Filling and Coating:

  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • 1/4 cup coarse sugar for rolling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Egg and Flavor: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
