Description

These Double Chocolate Einkorn Brownies are rich, fudgy, and made with wholesome einkorn flour for a delicious twist on a classic treat.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup einkorn flour
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, einkorn flour, salt, and baking powder to the mixture. Stir until smooth.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts, if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
