Description

Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  5. Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a baking dish.
  6. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35–45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
