Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Sauce:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed and softened

Other:

  • 12 ounces penne or rotini pasta
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season with garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  2. Make the Sauce: Pour heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, and cream cheese over the chicken.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours until chicken is tender. Shred the chicken and return it to the pot.
  4. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta separately until al dente. Add drained pasta to the crockpot mixture.
  5. Combine: Stir to coat the pasta and heat through. Garnish with parsley before serving.

  • You can use half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Try adding cooked spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
