Chicken:
1 1/2pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sauce:
2cups heavy cream
1cup chicken broth
1/2cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon minced garlic
8ounces cream cheese, cubed and softened
Other:
12ounces penne or rotini pasta
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season with garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
Make the Sauce: Pour heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, and cream cheese over the chicken.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours until chicken is tender. Shred the chicken and return it to the pot.
Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta separately until al dente. Add drained pasta to the crockpot mixture.
Combine: Stir to coat the pasta and heat through. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
You can use half-and-half for a lighter version.
Try adding cooked spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
