2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing
1/2cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2cup packed light brown sugar
1/2cup unsalted butter, melted
nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
Prepare the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
Prep the Dough: Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters. In a bag, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon. Coat the dough in this mixture by shaking in the bag.
Layer in the Slow Cooker: Layer half of the coated dough in the slow cooker. Drizzle with half of the butter and brown sugar mixture. Repeat with the remaining dough and butter mixture.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2.5 hours until golden.
Rest and Serve: Let it sit uncovered for 10 minutes. Drizzle the reserved icing over the warm monkey bread before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding chopped pecans or walnuts between the layers.
Serve warm for the best texture.
Leftovers can be easily reheated in the microwave.
