8oz cream cheese, softened
1/2cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
In a medium bowl, mix together ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth until well combined.
Pour the mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
Serve hot over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
You can use frozen chicken breasts; just increase the cook time slightly.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
This recipe works well with thighs too if you prefer dark meat.
