- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
- In a medium bowl, mix together ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve hot over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can use frozen chicken breasts; just increase the cook time slightly.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- This recipe works well with thighs too if you prefer dark meat.
