Ingredients

Units Scale

Salmon Marinade:

  • 1 pound skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

Other Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil (like avocado or vegetable)
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sriracha, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add the salmon cubes and toss gently to coat. Marinate for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Coat the Salmon: Drain off excess marinade and sprinkle salmon with cornstarch, tossing lightly to coat all sides.
  3. Cook the Salmon: Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add salmon in a single layer, working in batches if needed. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy on the outside and cooked through.
  4. Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and let rest for a minute. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or over a salad.

Notes

  • For extra heat, drizzle with chili crisp or add more sriracha.
  • Air fryer method: Cook salmon at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through. Works well with skin-on salmon too if desired.
