1pound ground beef
1 small yellow onion (diced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
Seasonings and Sauces:
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1cup beef broth
1/2cup heavy cream
Additional:
8oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
1 1/2cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2cup grated Parmesan cheese
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with onion until fully browned. Add garlic and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Transfer to Slow Cooker: Move the beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, marinara sauce, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
Add Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in pasta and heavy cream. Cover and cook on high for 25–30 minutes until pasta is tender.
Melt Cheese: Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
Serve: Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
You can swap ground beef for ground turkey or Italian sausage.
For extra veggies, add spinach or mushrooms during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
