Units Scale

    Pasta:

  • 12 ounces penne or fettuccine
  • Ground Beef:

  • 1 pound
  • Other:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the creamy sauce. Simmer for another 2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with milk or use a light cream.
  • You can also add spinach, mushrooms, or steamed broccoli for extra veggies.
