Pasta:
12ounces penne or fettuccine
Ground Beef:
1pound
Other:
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2cups heavy cream
1cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Prepare the Sauce: Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine and Serve: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the creamy sauce. Simmer for another 2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with milk or use a light cream.
You can also add spinach, mushrooms, or steamed broccoli for extra veggies.
