For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping any browned bits from the pan. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  4. Combine and Garnish: Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Let everything simmer together for another 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley and additional Parmesan before serving.

Notes
