- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes in olive oil, garlic, and herbs before cooking.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
- Use low-fat cream as a lighter alternative if preferred.
