Cream Cheese Chicken Croissants are a delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring flaky croissants filled with a creamy chicken and cheese mixture, perfect for a quick dinner or appetizer.

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cooked shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
  5. Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end, encasing the filling.
  6. Place the filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • Substitute shredded mozzarella for cheddar if preferred.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
