- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the cooked shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
- Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end, encasing the filling.
- Place the filled crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
- Substitute shredded mozzarella for cheddar if preferred.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
