  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

For the Sauce:

  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken in the crock pot.
  2. Add the Sauce: Combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, milk, onion, celery, and seasonings. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cook: Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is cooked.
  4. Shred the Chicken: Remove chicken, shred, and return to the pot.
