  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)

  • 2 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Pancake Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Rest batter while preparing cinnamon swirl.
  2. Cinnamon Swirl: Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Transfer to a bag, snip a corner, and swirl onto pancakes as they cook.
  3. Cook Pancakes: Pour batter onto a greased skillet, swirl with cinnamon mixture, flip when set, and cook. Repeat with remaining batter.
