Description

This decadent Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna is a no-bake dessert featuring a crunchy Oreo crust layered with a creamy peanut butter filling, silky chocolate pudding, and topped with whipped cream and crunchy peanut butter cups. Perfect for parties or a rich treat, it’s easy to assemble and delightfully indulgent.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 36 Oreos, crushed
  • 6 tbsp melted butter

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Chocolate Pudding Layer

  • 2 packs (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk

Topping

  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • ½ cup crushed peanut butter cups
  • Drizzle of melted peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form an even crust layer. Place the dish in the refrigerator and chill for 10 minutes to set.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the creamy peanut butter and mix thoroughly. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread this peanut butter mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Pudding Layer: In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes. Spread the thickened chocolate pudding evenly over the peanut butter layer. Return the dish to the refrigerator and chill for 10 minutes to allow the pudding to set.
  4. Top with Whipped Cream: Evenly spread 2 cups of whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer to create a smooth, fluffy topping.
  5. Garnish & Chill: Sprinkle the crushed peanut butter cups evenly over the whipped cream layer, then drizzle melted peanut butter on top for an extra touch of flavor and decoration.
  6. Chill & Serve: Refrigerate the assembled lasagna for at least 4 hours, allowing all layers to set and flavors to meld. Once chilled, slice into servings and enjoy this rich and creamy dessert.

Notes

  • For best results, use cold milk straight from the refrigerator to help the pudding set quickly.
  • This dessert can be prepared up to a day in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.
  • Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture; chunky peanut butter will change the consistency of the layer.
  • If desired, garnish with additional chocolate shavings or chopped peanuts for added texture.
  • Allow at least 4 hours chilling time to ensure firm layers before serving.
