Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 36 Oreos, crushed
- 6 tbsp melted butter
Peanut Butter Layer
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup whipped topping
Chocolate Pudding Layer
- 2 packs (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
Topping
- 2 cups whipped topping
- ½ cup crushed peanut butter cups
- Drizzle of melted peanut butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form an even crust layer. Place the dish in the refrigerator and chill for 10 minutes to set.
- Make the Peanut Butter Layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the creamy peanut butter and mix thoroughly. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread this peanut butter mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
- Prepare the Chocolate Pudding Layer: In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes. Spread the thickened chocolate pudding evenly over the peanut butter layer. Return the dish to the refrigerator and chill for 10 minutes to allow the pudding to set.
- Top with Whipped Cream: Evenly spread 2 cups of whipped topping over the chocolate pudding layer to create a smooth, fluffy topping.
- Garnish & Chill: Sprinkle the crushed peanut butter cups evenly over the whipped cream layer, then drizzle melted peanut butter on top for an extra touch of flavor and decoration.
- Chill & Serve: Refrigerate the assembled lasagna for at least 4 hours, allowing all layers to set and flavors to meld. Once chilled, slice into servings and enjoy this rich and creamy dessert.
Notes
- For best results, use cold milk straight from the refrigerator to help the pudding set quickly.
- This dessert can be prepared up to a day in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator.
- Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture; chunky peanut butter will change the consistency of the layer.
- If desired, garnish with additional chocolate shavings or chopped peanuts for added texture.
- Allow at least 4 hours chilling time to ensure firm layers before serving.
