  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Combine and Bake: Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9–11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
