Pretzel Base:

  • 2 cups mini pretzels (lightly crushed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Peanut Butter Layer:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Caramel Layer:

  • 1 (11 oz) bag soft caramels (about 40)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Chocolate Layer:

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pretzel Base: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and ½ cup of peanut butter. Press into the bottom of the pan.
  2. Peanut Butter Layer: In a bowl, mix 1 cup peanut butter with powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over the pretzel base.
  3. Caramel Layer: Melt caramels with heavy cream in a saucepan, then pour over the peanut butter layer.
  4. Chocolate Layer: Melt chocolate chips in the microwave, then pour over the caramel layer. Refrigerate until set.
  5. Lift out using parchment, slice into bars, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Bars can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top of the chocolate layer for a salty-sweet finish.
