  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Garlic Parmesan Rice:

  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Dredge chicken in seasoned flour and cook until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: Sauté garlic, deglaze with wine or broth, add lemon juice and red pepper flakes. Simmer chicken in the sauce.
