  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry: Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan, then add garlic, ginger, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and crisp-tender. Return the chicken to the pan.
  4. Add the Sauce: Pour in the sauce and cook for 2–3 minutes more, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and everything is evenly coated.
  5. Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired and serve hot.
