- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is hot and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

- Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Can be made ahead and reheated; add a splash of water if it dries out.
