Description

A comforting and easy-to-make dish featuring tender bowtie pasta tossed with savory ground beef in a rich garlic butter sauce, loaded with melted cheddar and Parmesan cheese for a deliciously cheesy finish.

Ingredients

Scale

Pasta

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta

Meat and Dairy

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquefied and starting to bubble gently.
  3. Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden, taking care not to burn it.
  4. Cook Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon, until fully browned and no longer pink.
  5. Combine Pasta and Beef: Stir the cooked pasta into the skillet with the browned beef, mixing thoroughly to evenly combine all ingredients.
  6. Add Cheeses: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan over the pasta and beef mixture and stir continuously until the cheeses melt completely and coat the dish evenly.
  7. Serve: Remove from heat and serve hot, enjoying the creamy, garlicky, and cheesy comfort food.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes while sautéing garlic.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best taste and meltability.
  • Drain pasta well to avoid excess water diluting the sauce.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated on the stovetop or microwave.
