- 8 oz bowtie pasta
Meat and Dairy
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Seasonings
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquefied and starting to bubble gently.
- Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden, taking care not to burn it.
- Cook Ground Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon, until fully browned and no longer pink.
- Combine Pasta and Beef: Stir the cooked pasta into the skillet with the browned beef, mixing thoroughly to evenly combine all ingredients.
- Add Cheeses: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan over the pasta and beef mixture and stir continuously until the cheeses melt completely and coat the dish evenly.
- Serve: Remove from heat and serve hot, enjoying the creamy, garlicky, and cheesy comfort food.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes while sautéing garlic.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best taste and meltability.
- Drain pasta well to avoid excess water diluting the sauce.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated on the stovetop or microwave.
